This story is best discovered by reading it yourself. That’s pretty good and all. I loved it all, even with the lip biting and hands through hair and that half-smile that rarely went into a full one. Heller’s office at his mercy. After the intro heard round the world, the plot took a turn that came extremely close to ruining my book buzz.
I highly recommend this read and the other books she has to offer. Pick it up, read it, love it, and come back to talk more about it ; Happy midnight reading! The romance story was the best part, and it never goes overboard on angst and self inflicted drama, as BD was notorious for. Victims just want it all to go away. I also couldn’t identify with Jacqueline’s college experience because her university didn’t sound anything like any I’ve ever heard of.
