The only real problem I have with this book is that it occasionally references the first Draconomicon in the series. The book was released again in by Wizards of the Coast with new cover artwork.

Just out of curiosity, is there any information on good-aligned dragons? The time now is Draconomicon was also the name of a expansion pack for the Spellfire collectible card game.

If you are a DM and you want to incorporate dragons on more of a level than just “a big encounter in the back of the dungeon”, or even if you are a player but still love to know this level of details with dragons, this is a great book for you and is even more useful if you have the Chromatic Draconomicon book as well. I read the reviews here and the one-star review really stood out, making me wonder if the other reviews draconomicno too easy on it. This book is excellent overall, and I do recommend it to every DM who has an interest in adding Metallic dragons to their game.

It says that magic helps them fly and they couldn’t, without it. Darconomicon are no discussion topics on this book yet. Not bad- but if you want a creature that looks half-dragon without wings- rules don’t support it. Robert Blank rated it it was amazing Sep 23,
