It makes it very simple to build a healthy lunch or dinner out of whatever I happen to have in the house. At least I’m guessing that, because plain yogurt is not too tasty, my friends. For example when I want to binge on ice cream, I imagine fat oozing down into my cells and just clogging them and strangling everything within them.

Dinch also liked how she pointed out good things to eat in each category. The book is set up as a day plan with two parts:. AND she also makes room for binges every once in a while. Believe me, that is something I would do. Unfortunately, the book doesn’t offer any suggestions for dining out.

Like any diet book there are concepts in here you have heard before. I also wish she had included more easy-to-assemble, on-the-go meals. And last but not least the mandatory yes mandatory Daily Dark Chocolate Escape!

In her new book, Cinch! The ginger adds an incredibly fresh and bright taste. My only complaint is how expensive it is to really follow this plan. I’m on day one, and I have a headache becaus I’ve had this book out from the library for about 3 months now – one of my exercise instructors suggested it when I broke down, telling her that I’d been exercising faithfully and GAINING weight.

The purpose of the five-day plan is to help you to detox from unhealthy foods without feeling deprived. There are no calories to count; no points or grams to memorize. Great book, The author is very knowledgeable.

These are key for me. Needless to say, since Christmas was yesterday, I have not actually tried this diet yet. I have done it and it works, but I get tired of it quickly!

I have already told my sister who is my maid of honor that she has to make sure that I am not freaking out and starving myself two weeks before my wedding. I also really appreciate the number of vegan and vegetarian meals that she includes. It’s hard to use the rest of the avocado before it goes bad. I decided to cynhtia in ccinch start the diet, using the optional 5-day “Fast Forward” in which I could lose up to 7 pounds.

I’ve also made some adjustments to the way I shop as well; just yesterday I put a couple of items back on the cynyhia because of a “hydrogenated” ingredient. I suppose the goal was to spend the fifth day throwing up? Cynthia includes over recipes so the risk of boredom is decreased.

I really liked the down to earth writing and ideas. I saes to say that I really enjoyed reading this book.
