As she starts to dig a trail back people start to get hurt and even killed, what does she have to sacrifice to learn the truth and who is behind it all. I have more on my blog, Pen to Paper.
Also this whole chosen one prophesy thing, I hate as it is an easy rutg to make the main look important and special when they are not, I would be more routed in the character if I know that they did the task out of their own merit rather then them needing to be told they have to do it because they are the only one.
There are good writers with good stories, there are ok writers with great stories and vice versa and there are many, many poor or average writers.
I like it that the romance is not too much in this book, but enough for me. She’s also working on the riddle of her mother’s disappearance, rjth to find out why her mother wanted her hidden, and what is so special about her that other witches seem to be willing to do anything to find her.
Both Abe and Emmaline provide much needed moments of relief with their one-liners, particularly Aoone who is still the best character warbjrton the whole series. You can read this item using any of the following Kobo apps and devices: Her pining for Seth also irritated me a bit – either do something about it or move on.

But the last like, pages were just terrible. But it got worse! It’s much more realistic but also remains true to the characters and the story. The villains in this book were nearly witcg. The second clinch links to the first and that is Anna’s love for Seth and the stupid decision she makes for him.
Near the end Anna goes to Russia with the gang including Seth and has her magic extracted Wizards vs aliens ripoff but is still alive, unlike the last witch, RIP to her. Dispatched from the UK in 3 business days When will my order arrive? What I hate most about this is that Anna has not been using magic, actually has not known about magic until a year or two ago.
What started out or at seemed to as a paranormal romance with witches, ended up as an epic quest narrative with action happening around the world and a genuine threat to the whole human race. There is a lot more action, magic battling and general excitement this time around.
Moon-Burn Lone March 3. As I explained in my review of A Witch in Winter, I literally started reading this series because the covers are so beautiful and the final book is no exception – even prettier than the rest. I must admit that I wasn’t too happy about the direction that things seemed to be taking in the previous book, with the introduction of Abe as a potential love rival.
A Witch Alone
Warurton again I loved Abe, his cheeky confidence is something that I always love in a male character and as with the other books I desperately wanted him to get together with Anna. As I mentioned earlier, I found Anna at her least likable in this book.
After all the buildup you then discover what happened to her in one quick paragraph and then they move on to the next fight scene.
I have thought of a bad point.
As for Seth himself, I liked that he stepped up in this book and I liked him more, his past was explained in a bit more detail and that helped me to connect to his character. And most importantly why do they want her? See 1 question about A Witch Alone….
